Hot season

Sound familiar? Here’s how we fix it

  • Scorching afternoons

Close the louvres or extend the awning when the sun is strongest.

  • Still, stuffy air

Angle the louvres to let warm air escape and breezes through.

  • Glare indoors

Sunscreen zip blinds and skylight shades soften harsh light.

  • Open sky at night

Retract the roof or awning fully once the heat has gone.

FAQ

Hot season: common questions

Which option cools an outdoor space best?

Opaque options such as louvre roofs, aluminium composite roofs and awnings give the most shade. Our specialist recommends the right mix for your space during the site survey.

Can I still get sun when I want it?

Yes. Louvres tilt or open, and awnings and Skyline roofs are 100% retractable.

What about a hot glass skylight?

Skyline shades fit beneath existing glass skylights and roofs to cut heat and glare, then retract when you want daylight.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the size, system and finishes you choose. Book a free site survey and we will measure your space and send a detailed, no-obligation quotation.
